Project Details

The intial project research was split into the digital marketing and the user experience aspects of selling contact lenses online. Knowing that legislation is likely to soon be implemented requiring that customers must provide a valid prescription before purchasing contact lenses online, we suggested restructing the prescription process so that this information was registered to the users account and not to products per order. This also massively simplified the buying process of lenses as, once registered, customers don't need to configure the lens requirements each time per order.

This simplified buying mechanism has been emphasied by a design refresh, modernising the branding, simplifying the categorisation of products and creating an easy to navigate website.

We have also worked with the client on off-site opportunities including an Amazon Store and strategic distribution partnerships.
